I`m now in Hong Kong and have issued my VISA last week. I`ve checked and here are the results:

• Israelis cannot get 6/12 months visas with agencies anymore. I contacted the recommended ones and they said they can only help Israelis that have a Hong Kong ID card.
  
  
• You should go to the embassy where you can get either of
  1 - Single entry 30 days for 150HKD
  2 - Double entry 30 days each for 220HKD
  3 - 6 months multiple entry 30 days each for 400HKD
  4 - 12 months / 30 days for 600HKD
  
  
• It`ll take two business days. For extra 150HKD you`ll get it the next day. For extra 250HKD you`ll get it the same day if you`re early enough.
  
  When changing cache 1USD is about 7.73HKD
  When changing traveller checks, about 7.66HKD.
  Change at Chunking mansion, Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.
  
  
• I got a single entry and managed to convince the clerk to allow me 60 days. This is not trivial but if you`ll insist you might have success as well.
  
  
• Within China you can lengthen your VISA for 30 more days which would usually be about 150Yuan. In some places you can lengthen a second time as well, but they may not give you 30 extra days.
  
  When lengthening the visa, you should come a couple of days before the VISA expires because it`s not 30 extra days but 30 days from when you apply for lengthening...
  
  
• NOTE: IF IN CHINA AND NOT STAYING IN A HOSTEL/HOTEL YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE POLICE WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE NEW PLACE (WITHIN 24 HOURS) AND REPORT WHERE YOU STAY. FAILING TO DO SO MAY CAUSE YOU TO BE FINED. Don`t be a sucker and note most policemen that try to fine you do that to get some extra cache in their pockets.
