Wanted to warmly recommend a sleeping place: Hotel Espana. Nice big place in the centre rooftop garden cafe with gorgeous views of the San Francisco Convent, good place to met up with other travelers good value US$ 3-13. 

have both shared rooms (dormitorios) and private ones as well, and therefore would serve variouse budjet of travellers. their service (info desk, muchilla storage, internet, laundry, food rest..) is great! travellers from all around the world.. (not an israeli place..) in the center, not at rich miraflores..
