For those of you who would like to learn some Chinese for the road, or just for once get to actually talk and know Chinese people: In the village of YangShou, in Guangxi province, there is an English school called Buckland School. They need foreigners to give the oral English lessons there. The deal is that you give about three lessons a day, 5 days a week, and get basic accommodation, food and Chinese lessons in return. You can also get a small salary, 200-300 US$ per month, if you stay for more than a month.
