If you plan to go to any of the national parks in the summer months you have to reserve in advance, especially if its on the weekends. All the National parks are packed with people on vacations and most of the camping site full. search for your Park and see how you can order there.
You can also check at KOA, but they usualy a little bit far from the parks, so..
