”Stuck for the night in Lanzhou“
To all of you that got stuck for the night in Lanzhou and have no clue what to do ;-)
there are a several hotels in the main street from the train station - Tianshui st. we stayed at Hualian hotel -3 stars hotel, 98 yuan for a double room with peivate bath... we saw a cheaper one somewhere over the same street but don`t know exactly where. we couldn`t buy tickets to the train so in our hotel a travel agency did for 40 yuan each on the same day.. good option if you don`t wanna stay in lanzhou long.
in the same street you`ll find a lot of local good and cheap food and fruit market
in the first junction on the right there is a cinema and when we where there was a movie in english.
the next junction after that - there is a blues bar - kind of expensive (10 yuan for a beer) but was really western and with really nice music....
