 There`s a good and cheap restaurant in San Cristobal called ``El Gato Gordo`` on Madero street, 2 blocks east of the Zocalo. They have a vegetarian menu for 17 pesos and you do not go out hungry after it! You can also order other things -including meat - and pay a little more but its still cheap.
