Santa Apolonia Hill - this hill is a natural scenic observatory over looking the valley and city of Cajamarca. It is reached by climbing a series of stones steps. 

Baños Del Inca - Incas Baths - the most important water resort in northern Peru, located 6 kms from Cajamarca in the district of Baños del Inca. Its origin dates back to the Inca empire and is considered to be the first tourist destination in the city as it was the preferred holiday location of the Inca  Atahualpa. He was the especially attracted by the peaceful beauty of its valley and the medicinal properties of its water, effective in the treatment of rheumatic, bronchial and nervous aliments.

Archeological center of Cumbe Mayo - a site of stunning beauty where the presence of manking and the course of nature converge located 20 kms southwest of Cajamarca at 3,400 mts above sea level, this important center consists of - the aqueduct, The Caves,
The Sanctuary, Ceremonial altars and Stone forest.

Ventanills De Otuzco - Archaeological site which consists of horizontal rows of rectangular and square shaped windows-like niches carved into the side of a steep volcan rock face. most of them are single hollows yet others are sets of multiple niches that lead into corridors 4 to 6 meters deep with lateral niches.

Atahualpa Jerusalem Cooperative - Granca Porcon - an important agrarian organization located near the Porcon district about 30 kms from Cajamarca, where extension of pine and eucalyptus forests and herds of alpacas, vicuñas, sheep`s and cattle have transformed this quiet mountain location into a Mecca for those interested in agro tourism or in just admiring the beauty of the 9,100 hectares of wooded hills and green pastures. there is a nice zoo as well located in the place.
