”Great restaurant in Oaxaca“

We just came back from a great restaurant in Oaxaca, called La Case Del Tio Guero. It serves typical Mexican food, like soupes, tortillas, natural juices, chile etc, we paid only 60 pesos for a meal including soup, spagetti/rice, main dish, beer, Guyava juice and a cake. The woman that runs the place is very nice and besides speaking English so also serves the food instantly. The address is Garcia Vigil 715, Centro Historico, Tel 5169584.

This restaurant is near a hostel that seems very nice and one that we`re gonna check tomorrow. It`s called Don Mario Hostal, 180 pesos a night for a double room, not dorms. Address Cosijopi 219, Centro Historico. A more pricy hotel but very nice one is Las Mariposas Hotel and it besides breakfast and free internet the double room includes TV, Shower and bath room inside, refregirator, small kitchen and a fan. All for 40 dollars a night for a couple, we actually paid 35 so you can too or even less.
