Mammoth is located about 5 hour drive north/east of Los Angeles on the Sierra/Nevada. Mammoth is California second largest ski resort. Mammoth has a great reputation for good snow, great night life and terrain. It has everything you are looking for in a resort. Usually the resort is not that crowded especially in mid week, but stay away during Presidents weekend Feb 18th. Mammoth has some of the best Jibber parks you will find anywhere.
