”Accomodation & Kitesurfing Cabarete“

I have just stayed for 5 nights in Cabarete. I stayed in a hotel called Tropical Goleta(pronounced koleta) it is about 3 km outside of town but right on the Kitesurfing beach .

It is an all inclusive club but the rent out rooms as board only and they also have appartments.

I paid 20$ a night for a room (It is a double but I was by myself so I do not know if they charge more for couples). The appartments are about 150$ a month but I know you can get cheaper ones in town.

You can also find cheaper accomodation but it is hard. The room has cable TV (from US) a private shower and balcony. If you want to go Kitesurfing the ``vela`` cklub on the beach has the best prices (165$for 4 days) they do require an IKO permit or a test with one of their instructors. If you are a beginner you can tip one of the local guys and he`ll help you with your gear and keep an eye out for you. It is highly recomended especially considering it can get very windy.
