we did the route from salta to chaci (157km), then 1 night there, and on to cafayate

the route is amazing ,lots of rock formations and amazing landscape. from cafayate you can got to see the quilmes ruins. then back to salta. it is possible to do it in 2 days. just make sure you have enough fuel

between cachi to molinos you can take for 11km a alternative route, note we were told the route to the laguna brealito is bad!!
