In Hokitika you can rent a 944 Porsche turbo, a 1938 alfa romeo replica and other nice cars. You can hire them by the hour/half an hour and more. The prices are $50 for half an hour, $100 for an hour.
They have an internet site
but they prices aren`t updated.
The owners are a really nice couple and for me it was the best experience so far (after a month and a half in NZ)...
