An important tip for anyone planning to sandbord in Ika. Beware of the dangers! Sandbording does not seem dangerous but many people get badly injured and in 1998 a tourist broke his mifreket and died. Many of the places who take you to sandbord will offer you no safty gear.
They will promise to teach you how to sandbord if you`ve never done it before but at the moment of truth wont explain anything. When you go snowbording or skiing nobody will let you do it if you dont know how and don`t have the right equipment.
