What particularly encouraged me to go is the fact that a low fare airliner called Iceland Express operates flights from various locations in Europe (London, Frankfurt and more) at an all incl. price starting at 200 EUR, while I paid 350 EUR. There are even sometimes special promotions called “Icebreakers” that can make it even cheaper. A recent check up of prices for the autumn months showed the lowest price levels (Not that I can recommend leaving outside the summer months). The prices may vary daily on Iceland Express Website, and I might have paid the lowest price as well had I been a day quicker to pay. I would like of course to mention that the flight was perfectly punctual on both directions. Finally, booking Budget cars via their website offers a 5% discount.
